Physiotherapist • Founder • Director
Physi-Cal Physiotherapy was established in 2022 by founder Callum Weir.
During his tenure in the Aged Care sector, Callum was also exposed to providing services to private and NDIS clients who would visit the facility for treatment. Many of these clients were grappling with mobility challenges and crippling pain, creating significant hurdles for them to access essential physiotherapy services. Witnessing firsthand the difficulties these individuals faced in seeking care, Callum recognized a pressing gap in the market.
Motivated by a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to improving accessibility, Callum laid the foundation for Physi-Cal Physiotherapy. The mission was clear, to provide personalised and compassionate care for clients with disabilities within the familiar and comforting confines of their homes. More than merely a business venture, Physi-Cal Physiotherapy was a response to a critical need Callum had identified through his direct experiences whilst working in the Aged Care sector.
The establishment of Physi-Cal reflects the unwavering dedication to addressing the challenges faced by those with a disability and accessing appropriate services. By offering in-home physiotherapy services, Callum aimed to bridge the accessibility gap, ensuring that individuals who find it difficult to access traditional physio services can now receive expert care in a setting where they feel most comfortable, bringing services directly to the doorsteps of those who need it most.
